As a National Food and Agriculture National Needs Graduate Fellow in the Center for Agroforestry, University of Missouri-Columbia, Kendra Esparza-Harris is pursuing a PhD degree in Agroforestry with a minor in International Development, and a certificate in Society and Sustainability. During her graduate program, Kendra’s research has focused on interdisciplinary strategies to utilize silvopasture, as an adaptive strategy for resilience among livestock grazing systems. Following the completion of her graduate program, Kendra aims to develop interdisciplinary approaches and strategies to address challenges associated with agriculture-wildlife interactions, and natural resource management.
