Missouri livestock producers and forest landowners were surveyed to understand their forest management practices as related to their livestock management.

Survey questions queried current perceptions and practices with regard to grazing livestock in wooded areas, and their understanding of silvopastoral practices.

Learning Objectives:

  • understand the current practices in woodland and livestock management among livestock producers and landowners in Missouri.
  • assess the overall perceptions and benefits of woodland silvopasture among livestock producers and landowners in Missouri.
  • explore the establishment and management barriers which impact the adoption of woodland silvopasture among livestock producers and landowners in Missouri.
