My name is Connor Austin and I am a senior at Virginia Tech. I am originally from Roanoke Virginia and I am very excited to be able to attend convention in sacramento this year. I am a a senior in forest resource management and environmental conservation with a minor in wildland fire ecology. I look forward to learning more about these subjects and hopefully finding a career path where I am able to continue to educate others on these topics. I am excited to be the president of the Virginia Tech student chapter of SAF aswell as the Chair of the student executive committee. I have wanted to be involved in natural resources and conservation my entire life and I am excited meet my fellow students and young professionals at convention.
