I am an associate professor of forest biometrics at the Department of Forestry and Environmental Conservation at Clemson University. My core research areas include tree biomass estimation using remote sensing, growth and yield models, spatial analysis of carbon estimation, and carbon markets. My past work focused on forest ecology, growth and yield models of slash pines, heart rot of sugar maple trees, biomass and bioenergy, ecosystem service (primarily carbon) estimation and valuation, and urban forestry.
