Stephanie Cadaval is a Ph.D. Candidate in Forest Resources and Conservation in the Clarke Human Dimensions Lab at the School of Forests, Fisheries, and Geomatics Science at the University of Florida. Stephanie's collaborative research focuses on conflict and collaboration around urban forests and storms in the eastern United States. Stephanie’s research uses a mixed methods approach to assess how urban forest professionals experience and perceive tree risk, efficacy, collaboration, and management challenges when working through storm events. Findings can provide examples for urban forest professionals and inform actionable practices for city storm management decision-making.
