This exploratory research highlights how urban forest professionals perceived tree-related risk, experienced collaboration and conflict, and how they managed storm events. This research involved semi-structured interviews with 17 professionals in three United States cities. Storm preparedness and response-related challenges were complex, and participants viewed collaborative practices positively.
