Jareth Beeler is a graduate of the University of Tennessee Knoxville where he received a bachelor's degree in Forestry, Resource management along with a minor in Geographic Information Systems. While in undergrad, Jareth spent his time working for UTK’s agricultural research centers, forestry research centers, the City of Knoxville's Urban Forestry Department, and the Tennessee Department of Forestry’s, Forest Inventory and Analysis division.
Upon graduation, Jareth was offered an opportunity to continue his education. He is now a Forestry Master's student at UTK studying carbon sequestration. His current work involves comparing timber and carbon values in the Appalachian forest region.
