With a professional career spanning over three decades, Joe Roush emerges as a seasoned expert in forestry and environmental stewardship. Earning his bachelor’s degree in Forest Science from the University of Illinois in 1988, Joe then navigated a successful journey through State and Municipal government, as well as the private sector.
In his current role as the Owner and Principal Forester at Forest & Habitat Professionals, Joe truly enjoys his work with private landowners helping them to develop and realize their goals of environmental stewardship. His geographic focus spans the Western Cascades, Interior West and Central Hardwoods regions of North America.
In addition to being a Certified Forester, Joe recently became certified as a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, bringing his vast knowledge of environmental stewardship into his practice, as well as a mindset geared towards operational efficiency and excellence.
Beyond his extensive professional activities, Joe also volunteers with numerous community organizations, serving on boards and advisory committees, showcasing a profound commitment to environmental advocacy that extends far beyond the workplace.
Joe considers his membership and participation in the Society of American Foresters, which includes his three presentations at National Conventions, to be the highlights of his career.
