Rick started a forestry consulting firm in Roseburg, OR and sold the business in 2021. Rick holds a BS in Forest Management and a MS in Business Administration. During his 30 years as a forestry consultant, he expanded the business from a one-person operation to 13 staff members with offices in Roseburg and North Bend, OR. Rick and his wife were selected by the American Tree Farm System as 2014 Western Region Tree Farmers of the Year. Rick is currently the President-elect for ACF and has served SAF as Chair of the Oregon State Chapter and as District 2 Representative.
