Justin is a Research Forester / silviculturist for the USDA Forest Service that studies the effects of active management and natural disturbance on forest stand structure and dynamics. He earned his MS from Humboldt State and PhD from University of Montana. Justin worked for the Pacific Northwest Research Station in Juneau, Alaska as a Research Forester, before landing back in Missoula end of 2019 as part of the Rocky Mountain Research Station’s Forest and Woodland Ecosystems Program.
