This study mainly focuses on the Chinese tallow invasion in the Southeastern United States. This study is trying to determine the mechanisms of Chinese tallow invasion and spread patterns in wet pine flatwoods and the related invasibility, invasiveness, and degree of invasion.
Learning Objectives:
Upon completion, participants will be able to understand the mechanisms of spread and distribution patterns of Chinese tallow trees at stand level within southern wet pine flatwoods in the Southeastern Coastal Plains of the United States.
Upon completion, participants will be able to have a better understanding of the invasibility of native forest ecosystems, the invasiveness of Chinese tallow, and the degree of invasion related to invasibility and invasiveness in the southeastern United States.
