This study explored the factors shaping landowners' forest management behaviors in Iowa's agricultural landscapes. We identified personal values, economic considerations, and social networks as significant influencers of forest management behaviors. The findings underscore the significance of sustainable management practices and the benefits of promoting forest conservation in Iowa and beyond.
