iSeaTree: Developing an Open-Source Mobile Application and Community Science Tool for Quantifying and Tracking Urban Forestry Assets

'iSeaTree' is an application for identifying and tracking urban trees. It works with the USFS's 'iTree' API to calculate the CO2, H2O, and pollution benefits of trees within the United States and Canada.

This presentation will discuss how we built the app and what we have learned since its launch.

  • Upon completion, participants will be able describe where to download 'iSeaTree' and also how to access and build their own version of the 'iSeaTree' open-source code base.
