The results will help decision-makers decide, plan, and prioritize investment and funding assistance for emerging mass timber momentum in Michigan.
Learning Objectives:
Upon completion, participant will be able to visualize the spatial optimization of the potenial location and supply pathways for mass timber manufacturing in Michigan modelled using LURA. Prospective manufacturers and stakeholders will be informed of the future market direction of mass timber with information on the sustained supply of feedstock with both supply and demand accounted to assess market extent and competition.
Upon completion, participant will be able to evaluate why assessing supply-demand dynamics is crucial for for the development of mass timber industry in the United States.
