The Gouge-Eye Project is a large landscape restoration project that uses Indigenous knowledge, science, and historic photos to identify the need for management within the Upper Malheur Sub-basin. BLM, OSU, & USGS are partnering up to identify the hydrologic impact encroaching conifer have on the water-cycle.
