Ph.D. Student Clemson University Easley, South Carolina, United States
The use of forest health variables from the USDA Forest Service Forest Inventory Analysis is an informational tool to determine the invasion extent of the southern region forests. It allows land managers and landowners to better predict the susceptibility and monitor for invasive plants that could impact their forests.
Learning Objectives:
Upon completion, participants will be able to understand the extent of invasive plant spread in the southern United States.
Upon completion, participants will be able to identify the forest types and attributes that coincide with invasive plants and better predict the susceptibility of the lands they manage with similar forest attributes.
