Matthew Pelkki is the Director of the Arkansas Center for Forest Business and the Clippert Chair of Forestry in the College of Forestry, Agriculture, and Natural Resources at the University of Arkansas at Monticello. Dr. Pelkki earned a BSF (1985) from the University of Michigan and an MS (1988) and PhD (1992) from the University of Minnesota.
Pelkki’s experience spans 31 years of research and teaching in forest economics and management. He has published more than 100 scientific articles and been part of research projects totaling more than $27 million. His current research focuses on sustainable forest-based economic development.
