Elias received his B.S. in Natural Resource Science and Management (Emphasis in Forest Resource Management) from the University of Missouri (Columbia) in 2021. He is currently a master's student at Purdue University working with Dr. Michael Saunders as a graduate research assistant. This presentation covers a large portion of his master's research as it relates to the issue of declining white oak (Quercus alba) prevalence in the central hardwood region.
