Segun Adeyemo is a doctoral student at Mississippi State University, specializing in applied and quantitative ecology under the tutelage of Professor Joshua Granger. His research focuses on combining growth and yield models with habitat suitability model prediction to improve model prediction and accuracy, with the goal of restoring bottomland hardwood species in the Lower Mississippi Alluvial Valley. Segun is an advocate for sustainable forest management, and he obtained his bachelor's and master's degrees in Forestry from the University of Ibadan, Nigeria, and a double master's degree in Forest Science from the University of Padua, Italy. He is a sports lover.
