Akane Abbasi is a Ph.D. student in the Department of Forestry and Natural Resources at Purdue University under the supervision of Dr. Jingjing Liang. She joined the Forest Advanced Computing and Artificial Intelligence (FACAI) Lab to study the states and dynamics of forests under global change. She received her Master’s degree in Forest Biology from Purdue University and her Bachelor’s degree in Bioenvironmental Sciences at Nagoya University in Japan. In her free time, she enjoys rock climbing.
