I am a graduate student at Sonoma State University using terrestrial laser scanning to study forest structure. My undergraduate degree is in Forestry and Natural Resources from Cal Poly, SLO. I have experience in researching forest health, specifically a Heterobasidion pathosystem in the Sierra Nevada. While at Sonoma State University I aim to develop techniques for analyzing lidar data in the context of forest disturbances, and will use my experience with Heterobasidion disease gaps as a model system.
