ORISE US Forest Service Postdoc
Oak Ridge Institute for Science and Education
Newport, Rhode Island, United States
I am currently an ORISE postdoctoral fellow at the Rocky Mountain Research Station (Missoula) of US Forest Service. My work focuses on the silviculture and ecology of northern Rocky Mountain forests, with current project emphasis on ponderosa pine and western larch-dominated moist mixed-conifer forests.
My educational and professional background is in silviculture and climate change mitigation and adaptation in the forest sector, although more recent work also involved forest landscape modeling. I have broad research interests, but focal areas are ecological silviculture, silviculture for climate change adaptation, stand dynamics, and disturbance ecology.
