Dana Chapman is a M.S. student attending the University of Washington wrapping up her thesis addressing the historical context, current risk, and future implications wildfire brings to Mt. Spokane State Park in Eastern Washington. She completed her B.S. degree in Environmental Science and Terrestrial Resource Management with a minor in Environmental Studies at UW as well. She is currently a part of the USFS's Resource Assistants Program as a Forest Ecologist Fellow based out of the PNW Research Station's Forestry Sciences Laboratory in Corvallis, Oregon. Outside of wildfire, forestry, and land management-centered topics, she has a passion for teaching environmental education in outdoor settings.
