Azalie Welsh works for California State Parks as a forester and prescribed burn practitioner on Parks lands throughout the state. She holds both Bachelor's and Master's degrees in forestry from UC Berkeley, and recently received her license as a Registered Professional Forester in California. Her current work involves assisting State Parks natural resource managers with forestry and fire related projects and coordinating efforts to grow an effective treatment program across the state. Previously, Azalie has worked for forestry and fuel management consulting companies in California and Oregon, a Resource Conservation District, and a variety of other land management entities.
