Ron (RPF 1983) worked in forestry for thirteen years in various capacities, including logger, a forester with consulting firms, five years with the USFS, and a forester with the IRS before becoming an engineering manager and senior manager. He has written five books of western historical fiction and a semi-autobiographical book about his special experiences with the Forest Service in the 1970s. He is a graduate of Forestry from U.C. Berkeley and holds an MBA from Cal State East Bay. Ron lives in Clayton, CA with his wife, Tammy. They have three children and one granddaughter.
