Candra grew up in a small town in Western Washington. She loved the outdoors from an early age and followed that path into adulthood, earning a BAS in forestry. She created Talking Forests LLC. Candra is a communications consultant and DEI advocate. She is neurodiverse, diagnosed with CPTSD and GAD. She travels with her Service Dog, Rhett. She is a member of working groups in SAF: Young Professionals, Department of Defense Forestry, International Forestry, & Diversity and Inclusion, and SEC Mentor. She is a motivated entrepreneur with seven years of experience in marketing and communications, social media, podcasting, speaking.
