Sagar Godar Chhetri is an Assistant Professor of Forest Economics at the Arkansas Center for Forest Business, University of Arkansas at Monticello (UAM), Arkansas. Dr. Chhetri teaches Forest Finance courses at UAM. He has been conducting research in timber demand and supply, surveys to consulting foresters, property taxation, carbon sequestration, climate change, private forest landowners, and forest policy. Besides research and teaching work, he has a role in designing and developing outreach programs. Currently, he is also serving as a secretary/Treasurer for the Ouachita Society of American Foresters, Arkansas Division, Southeast Chapter.
