Robert G. Wagner is professor of silviculture and forest ecology at Purdue University’s Department of Forestry & Natural Resources, where served as department head from 2016-2023. Prior to joining Purdue, he served on the faculty of University of Maine, where he was the Henry W. Saunders Distinguished Professor in Forestry. He received his bachelor's degree in forest management from Utah State University, his master’s in forest ecology/silviculture from the University of Washington, and his PhD in silviculture/vegetation management from Oregon State University.
