Amanda Sullivan-Astor serves as a liaison for Associated Oregon Loggers' forest contracting members with environmental regulatory agencies. She also works with partners to promote sustainable forest management that enhances the forest contracting workforce and sector as a whole. Amanda consistently advocates for legally sound and science-based management practices that acknowledge environmental and economic tradeoffs.
Amanda is an SAF Certified Forester and is the Oregon SAF Chair-Elect. Additionally, she is an active member of the SAF Committee on Forest Policy. She obtained undergraduate degrees in Forestry from Colorado State University and a Graduate Certificate in Forest Carbon from Michigan State University.
