Rob Keefe is Associate Professor of Forest Operations and Director of the University of Idaho Experimental Forest). Dr. Keefe has a B.S. in Forestry from the University of New Hampshire and MS and PhD from the University of Idaho. As a practicing forester working with students to manage 10,000 acres of working research forests in the Inland Empire, hjs interests span basic to applied research with emphasis on using new technology to develop smart forestry systems that improve the safety, productivity and sustainability of forestry in ways that span silviculture, forest biometrics, forest operations and forest planning.
