Jamie is the Assistant Director of Adaptive Management, Monitoring, and Analysis; Ecosystem Management Coordination in the USDA Forest Service's Headquarters. He has also served as the Acting Director of the Forest Service's Office of Sustainability and Climate. He currently serves as the Lead for Implementation of sections of Executive Order 14072 Strengthening the Nation's Forests, Communities, and Rural Economies that address Mature and Old-Growth Forests. Before joining the Forest Service's Headquarters staff in 2013 he spent 20 years as a scientist, team leader, program manager, and acted as the Assistant Director for Research at the Forest Service's Pacific Northwest Research Station.
