Alec leads the New England Forestry Foundation’s efforts to document and showcase the potential of New England’s working forests and serves as NEFF’s representative in Maine. Alec previously served as director of the Maine Forest Service and has more than 40 years of experience in natural resource planning and program administration. Alec has a Master of Science from the University of California, with emphasis in ecology, and a Bachelor of Science in forest science from the University of Maine.
