Connor is a PhD candidate at Northern Arizona University, where he has been working with Dr. Kristen Waring to study issues of aspen sustainability and outbreaks of an invasive insect, oystershell scale. Connor’s research is at the intersection between silviculture and forest health, and he is particularly interested in studying how silvicultural strategies can help forests adapt in an increasingly uncertain future.
