Geoff Williams is currently the International Sentinel Network Coordinator working with collaborators across the world through International Programs in the USDA Forest Service collecting data on pests and pathogens that impact US species abroad. Geoff completed an M.S. at the University of Idaho on crown foliage allocation in western larch (Larix occidentalis) and his Ph.D. from Purdue University focused on the microbiome and nematodes in Thousand Cankers Disease of Eastern black walnut (Juglans nigra). He was awarded a Fulbright to study forest pathology and entomology in Esquel, Argentina (Patagonia) in Nothofagus forests and plantations of US native tree species.
