Olakunle E. Sodiya is a Ph.D. student in the Department of Forestry and Environmental Resources at North Carolina State University. He is a 2021/2022 Southeast Climate Adaptation Science Center, Global Change Fellow. Currently, he is a member of the Economic Modeling lab, supervised by Dr. Justin Baker. His research interests broadly include climate change impact, mitigation and adaptation, economic and geospatial modeling of sustainable management of natural resources, supply chain analysis, carbon sequestration, and disturbance ecology. His current research focuses on assessing spatial temporal variation in TPO trends, and understanding how the relationship between planted forest, carbon stock, and industrial roundwood production might impact the global timber market in the short- and long-term. In addition, Olakunle serves as the treasurer of the North Carolina Division of SAF.
