Ella Gray is a forest ecologist and science educator. She received her B.A. in Biology in 2012 from Reed College, her M.S. in Forest and Natural Resource Science and Management from SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry in 2017, and her Ph.D. in Natural Resource Science and Management from the University of Minnesota in 2022. She is currently a postdoctoral scholar at Oregon State University. Her research focuses on the role of disturbances, both natural and anthropogenic, in forest stand dynamics and their implications for management.
