Assistant Professor of Natural Resource Economics and Policy
University of Florida, United States
Dr. Kotryna Klizentyte is an Assistant Professor of Natural Resource Economics and Policy at the University of Florida. My specialties include outdoor recreation research and non-market valuation of natural resources, specifically understanding preferences for ecosystem services among diverse user groups. I strive to make science, especially economics, accessible to all (including other researchers!) by providing simple interpretations of results, non-verbose report writing, and using novel tools to connect stakeholders to research. My passion is bridging silos across disciplines, such as social science, economics, marine sciences, and forestry to provide holistic and sustainable solutions to complex problems.
