We conducted a systematic review to determine the extent of wildfire risk decision support tools utilized in peer-reviewed literature. We used Non-metric MultiDimensional Scaling (NMDS) ordination to depict the gaps in the decision-making space. Our findings connect managers to the appropriate tools to inform their priorities with the wildfire crisis.
Learning Objectives:
Define and distinguish between the varying types of decision support tools and systems commonly used in the Western United States.
Understand the barriers and knowledge gaps between existing decision support tools, use in the field, and what future actions should be taken to address this.
