There is a gap in the current knowledge regarding the exacerbation of health disparities, emergency preparedness, and impacts on radiation oncology providers and infrastructure by wildfires. Highlighting the impact on rural populations and emphasizing community emergency preparedness is vital to mitigating wildfires' impacts on one of the most vulnerable communities.
