We developed a reference database and annotated bibliography on old-growth forests of the southern United States.
Learning Objectives:
Learn about the contemporary status, extent, and characteristics of the old-growth forests in the Southern Region.
Recognize key structural, compositional, and functional attributes of old-growth forests of the southern United States through the lens of historical and contemporary materials. These include not only scientific literature, but technical reports, historical images, books, websites, and other related resources compiled in the form of a searchable database and annotated bibliography.
