Women in Forestry workshops in Georgia provided an educational platform to tailor outreach to meet female forest landowners (FFLs) stated needs. Evaluating FFLs confidence in land management techniques, intent with their land, and demographics helped outreach professionals refine future outreach programming.
Learning Objectives:
Upon completion, participant will be able to explain how to support female forest landowners develop confidence in land management and forest ecosystem needs.
Upon completion, participant will be able to outline female forest landowners land management goals to ensure targeted outreach efforts.
Upon completion, participant will be able to create workshops with an inviting and comfortable atmosphere for female forest landowners.
