The purpose of this session is to illustrate the excellent collaborations occurring across the United States where forest soil scientists are working with foresters to implement strategies to protect the soil resource and help to manage the nation’s forests sustainably.

Organized by the SAF Soils Working Group.

Learning Objectives:

Upon completion of the session, participants will be able to identify successful partnerships between forests and soil scientists
Upon completion of the session, participants will be able to develop strategies for working together to solve management problems.
Upon completion of the session, participants will learn how important developing good working relationships between forest soil scientists and foresters if for managing forests sustainably.
