The North Yuba Forest Partnership CFLRP is the largest forest resilience project in the USFS Region 5. We will describe how we set monitoring targets and triggers for adaptive management based on science. With large funding and ambitious implementation there is a clear need to monitor the impacts.
Learning Objectives:
Describe the monitoring and adaptive management approach proposed for a large forest project.
Recognize the connection and alignment between forest projects led by the U.S. Forest Service, regional efforts like the Tahoe Central Sierra Initiative, and the state's Wildfire and Forest Resilience Task Force's work.
