An evolution of forestry calls for innovative, creative leaders. In this session, a field professional, young professionals, and student will discuss with attendees stories and practices for creating intentional leadership opportunities for emerging leaders. Attendees will learn from each other ways to make space for these leaders in their organizations.

Learning Objectives:

Upon completion participants will be able to develop individual or organizational plans and practices for elevating young professionals into leadership roles.
Upon completion participants will be able to recognize existing or create new opportunities suited for young professional leadership that embodies the way that young professionals seek to lead.
Upon completion participants will be able to identify and describe the benefits of young professional leaders to the future of forestry.
